Matthew Bellamy, tout de blanc v&ecirc;tu dans une redingote des plus seyantes, entame <em>Apocalypse Please <\/em> sur son clavier magique qui fait de la lumi&egrave;re en fonction des accords et accroche pour une bonne heure et demi sa voix au plafond. D&eacute;cid&eacute;ment cl&eacute; de vo&ucirc;te du groupe, il passe indiff&eacute;remment du clavier lumineux &agrave; la guitare qui clignote dans un son et lumi&egrave;re des plus puissants. Entre le jeu de batterie muscl&eacute; de Wolstenhome et les envol&eacute;es lyriques de la voix de Bellamy, le public, v&eacute;ritable quatri&egrave;me homme ce soir, hurle, reprend les refrains et se d&eacute;m&egrave;ne en suivant la musique, en accueillant toute fois moins bien les chansons du dernier album. <em>Absolution <\/em> se fait pourtant la part belle du concert de ce soir avec dix de ses douze titres jou&eacute;s, mais des chansons comme <em>Thoughts of a Dying Atheist<\/em>, <em>Endlessly <\/em> ou <em>Blackout <\/em> font largement moins effet que des <em>New Born<\/em>, <em>Plug-in Baby <\/em> ou autres <em>Sunburn<\/em>. &Agrave; la moiti&eacute; du concert, un &eacute;cran g&eacute;ant en triptyque descend dans le fond de la sc&egrave;ne et alterne les images envoy&eacute;es par de petites cam&eacute;ras dispers&eacute;es sur sc&egrave;ne et celles de paysages. Montagnes et autres soleils couchants d&eacute;filent, comme si l&rsquo;absolution recherch&eacute;e par le groupe se trouvait au-dessus de nous. Bien au-dessus m&ecirc;me, quand vient le quart d&rsquo;heure galactique de <em>Space Dementia<\/em>. Pour le reste, le public chavire sous les coups de <em>Butterflies and Hurricanes<\/em>, <em>Muscle Museum <\/em> et <em>Citizen Erased<\/em>. L&rsquo;apog&eacute;e de cette ambiance hyst&eacute;rique est atteinte sur <em>Time Is Running Out <\/em> et <em>Stockholm Syndrome<\/em>, qui cl&ocirc;t le concert sous les paillettes. Les lumi&egrave;res se rallument, je regarde autour de moi, j&rsquo;&eacute;coute, plus personne n&rsquo;a de voix.
