Comme quoi tout arrive. Les Raveonettes ont livr&eacute; cette ann&eacute;e un album qui tient la route, agr&eacute;able du d&eacute;but &agrave; la fin, consistant et complet, ce qui n&rsquo;arrive plus tellement dans cette &eacute;poque de zappage constant. Rien que pour &ccedil;a, le duo danois m&eacute;rite des f&eacute;licitations. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/tag\/in-and-out-of-control\/\">En photos &rarr;<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2>9 | Pete Yorn &amp; Scarlett Johansson &mdash; <em>Break Up<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2009\/12\/yornpete-breakup.jpg\" style=\"text-align:left\">Je sais, j&rsquo;ai honte. Mais depuis 2005 et le premier effort de la  curieuse association Lanegan &ndash; Campbell, j&rsquo;ai un sale penchant pour les  disques de gars et de filles qui &eacute;crivent des chansons ensemble. De ce  c&ocirc;t&eacute;-l&agrave; <em>Break Up<\/em> et sa pop sautillante est une r&eacute;ussite, l&rsquo;association est brillante et on se croirait tout du long dans un  l&eacute;ger printemps californien avec des d&eacute;capotables old school, des robes  en dentelles et du soleil acidul&eacute; qui baigne le tout. Une fois  pelotonn&eacute; dans le froid de ce mois de d&eacute;cembre, forc&eacute;ment, ce genre  d&rsquo;album ne peut que gagner des places au classement. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/tag\/break-up\/\">En photos &rarr;<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2>8 | The Hard Lessons &mdash; <em>Arms Forest<\/em> <\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2009\/12\/hardlessons-armsforest.jpg\" style=\"text-align:left\">Le trio  d&rsquo;Ann Arbor a gagn&eacute; en &eacute;paisseur depuis son primesautier <em>Gasoline<\/em> de 2005, et c&rsquo;est une bonne chose car depuis que les White Stripes, Brendan Benson et Blanche ont d&eacute;m&eacute;nag&eacute;, que les Paybacks et Electric Six sont retomb&eacute;s dans l&rsquo;oubli et que les Von Bondies se sont assis sur les espoirs qu&rsquo;on avait mis en eux, D&eacute;troit ne peut plus vraiment compter que sur eux. Confirmation avec la pop imm&eacute;diate d&rsquo;<em>Arms Forest<\/em> et son brin de folie qui contre-balance son dangereux penchant pour le larmoyant, heureusement passager. Je leur souhaite encore plein d&rsquo;albums dans le genre pour les ann&eacute;es &agrave; venir et autre chose que des Batofars quand ils repasseront par ici. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/tag\/arms-forest\/\">En photos &rarr;<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2>7 | The Pains of Being Pure at Heart &mdash; <em>The Pains of Being Pure at Heart<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2009\/12\/pobpah-pobpah.jpg\" style=\"text-align:left\">Difficile de ne pas finir dans le top 10 de l&rsquo;ann&eacute;e quand on marie aussi bien The Jesus and Mary Chain avec les Smiths, point. The Pains of Being Pure at Heart ont rythm&eacute; mon ann&eacute;e avec leurs morceaux &eacute;tincelants, r&eacute;serv&eacute;s, &eacute;th&eacute;r&eacute;s et jamais saoulants, comme les premiers rayons de soleil juste apr&egrave;s la pluie, comme un &eacute;t&eacute; avec la t&ecirc;te dans le frigo, en supposant bien s\u00fbr qu&rsquo;on puisse envisager de passer l&rsquo;&eacute;t&eacute; la t&ecirc;te coinc&eacute;e dans son frigo. De ceux-l&agrave; aussi, on peut attendre beaucoup dans ces ann&eacute;es 10 &agrave; venir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2>6 | Franz Ferdinand &mdash; <em>Tonight: Franz Ferdinand<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2009\/12\/franzferdinand-tonight.jpg\" style=\"text-align:left\">Parce que Franz Ferdinand reste Franz Ferdinand. Parce que m&ecirc;me apr&egrave;s cinq ans, trois albums et une moustache, m&ecirc;me si <em>Ulysses <\/em>est devenu l&rsquo;apanage de gens peu recommandables, Franz Ferdinand passe encore facilement comme un groupe en devenir &agrave; qui tout r&eacute;ussit, &agrave; qui tout sourit, avec qui tout marche, des percus transes qui allongent <em>Lucid Dreams <\/em>&agrave; perte d&rsquo;ou&iuml;e aux rythmiques chaloup&eacute;es et anachroniques qui balancent sur <em>Can&rsquo;t Stop Feeling<\/em>, en prenant le temps de donner une digne suite &agrave; <em>Eleanor Put Your Boots on<\/em> avec <em>Katerine Kiss Me<\/em>. Si j&rsquo;avais un groupe, tant de talent et de belles gueules dans un m&ecirc;me projet, &ccedil;a me d&eacute;primerait.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2>5 | Mumford &amp; Sons &mdash; <em>Sigh No More<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2009\/12\/mumfordsons-sighnomore.jpg\" style=\"text-align:left\">L&rsquo;ann&eacute;e derni&egrave;re, j&rsquo;avais fait la gueule &agrave; Fleet Foxes parce que tant de barbes et de neurast&eacute;niques en bois dans un m&ecirc;me groupe, &ccedil;a me d&eacute;primait. Alors le Ciel m&rsquo;&eacute;couta, alors la mer s&rsquo;ouvrit en deux, alors surgirent Mumford et ses fils sur leurs fringants poneys avec leur folk cool qui elle au moins se bouge le fion comme aurait pu le faire celle de la baraque &agrave; Fleet si ces derniers n&rsquo;avaient pas trouv&eacute; dr&ocirc;le d&rsquo;assaisonner leurs corn flakes au valium pendant toute l&rsquo;ann&eacute;e 2008. <em>Sigh No More<\/em> a donc tout de suite march&eacute; sur moi, d&egrave;s la premi&egrave;re &eacute;coute, comme si je le connaissais depuis toujours &mdash;&nbsp;surtout que l&rsquo;intro de <em>Winter Winds<\/em> ressemble au refrain de <em>Comme des enfants<\/em> de Cure de Picrate, mais on s&rsquo;&eacute;gare&nbsp;&mdash; et se retrouve donc devant Franz Ferdinand sans aucun effort [et m&ecirc;me sans moustache]. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/tag\/sigh-no-more-album\/\">En photos &rarr;<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2>4 | The Black Box Revelation &mdash; <em>Set Your Head on Fire<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2009\/12\/bbr-setyourheadonfire.jpg\" style=\"text-align:left\">J&rsquo;ai l&rsquo;impression de n&rsquo;avoir &eacute;cout&eacute; qu&rsquo;eux, cette ann&eacute;e. Au risque d&rsquo;en rajouter une couche, Paternoster et Van Dijck sont donc la meilleure chose qui soit arriv&eacute; &agrave; la Belgique depuis dEUS. <em>Set Your Head on Fire<\/em> sent peut-&ecirc;tre la peinture fra&icirc;che du texte assez creux, on voit un peu les raccords ici et l&agrave; dans l&rsquo;id&eacute;e mais l&rsquo;ex&eacute;cution, mazette, au point de se permettre de botter le cul &agrave; Ghinzu le soir du Bataclan d&rsquo;avril dernier laisse deviner qu&rsquo;on devrait revoir le duo plus haut dans le classement pour les albums &agrave; venir, peut-&ecirc;tre ici-m&ecirc;me l&rsquo;ann&eacute;e prochaine puisque le deuxi&egrave;me album, <em>Silver Threats<\/em>, sort le 1<sup>er<\/sup> f&eacute;vrier. \u00c0 suivre. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/tag\/set-your-head-on-fire-album\/\">En photos &rarr;<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2>3 | The Yeah Yeah Yeahs &mdash; <em>It&rsquo;s Blitz!<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2009\/12\/yeahyeahyeahs-blitz.jpg\" style=\"text-align:left\">J&rsquo;avoue, quand j&rsquo;ai vu d&eacute;barquer en mars les Ouais Ouais Ouais avec leur album sans guitare, j&rsquo;ai ri. J&rsquo;ai trouv&eacute; <em>Zero<\/em> pas mal, mais j&rsquo;ai ri. Ensuite j&rsquo;ai pass&eacute; mon chemin, oubli&eacute; l&rsquo;affaire et ce n&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;&agrave; la fin de l&rsquo;&eacute;t&eacute; que l&rsquo;id&eacute;e de quand m&ecirc;me jeter une oreille &agrave; ce troisi&egrave;me effort histoire de ne pas mourir idiot m&rsquo;a travers&eacute; l&rsquo;esprit. La place &agrave; laquelle termine <em>It&rsquo;s Blitz!<\/em> raconte la suite d&rsquo;elle-m&ecirc;me&nbsp;: les Yeah Yeah Yeahs ont atteint l&rsquo;&acirc;ge de maturit&eacute;, celui auquel on est plus s&eacute;rieux m&ecirc;me si on pense &ecirc;tre toujours aussi rock n&rsquo;roll qu&rsquo;avant. Le premier EP est loin mais ce qu&rsquo;on a l&agrave; ouvre des horizons en t&#8217;emportant plus loin. C&rsquo;est &ccedil;a l&rsquo;exp&eacute;rience, non&nbsp;? [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/tag\/horehound\/\">En photos &rarr;<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2>1 | Kasabian &mdash; <em>The West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2009\/12\/kasabian-wrpla.jpg\" style=\"text-align:left\" width=\"100\" height=\"106\"> Si on m&rsquo;avait demand&eacute; l&rsquo;ann&eacute;e derni&egrave;re un classement th&eacute;orique pour 2009, j&rsquo;aurais imagin&eacute; mettre Editors &agrave; cette premi&egrave;re place, Ghinzu peut-&ecirc;tre, Placebo pourquoi pas, sans m&ecirc;me consid&eacute;rer une seconde ce troisi&egrave;me Kasabian. Et puis la d&eacute;ception de <em>Mirror, Mirror<\/em>, et puis la blague <em>Battle for the Sun<\/em>, et puis les claviers Bontempi et le colonel de la Wehrmacht qui envoient <em>In This Light and on This Evening<\/em> rejoindre <em>The Resistance<\/em> de Muse dans la bo&icirc;te &agrave; choses honteuses de l&rsquo;ann&eacute;e, et puis Kasabian qui livre un album mortel, deux lives &eacute;normes et m&ecirc;me un &eacute;cran plasma &mdash;&nbsp;comprenne qui pourra&nbsp;&mdash;. Je n&rsquo;avais &mdash;&nbsp;&eacute;trangement&nbsp;&mdash; pas aim&eacute; le premier album, je n&rsquo;avais pas eu l&rsquo;occasion de vraiment bien me pencher sur le deuxi&egrave;me et l&agrave;, vraiment, &ccedil;a fait du bien de se rattraper.
