Si la patte de Lanegan est omnipr&eacute;sente &mdash;&nbsp;acoustique folk &agrave;  gogo et voix rauque comme on aime&nbsp;&mdash; la main d&rsquo;Isobel  Campbell apporte une bonne dose de plus &agrave; l&rsquo;ensemble&nbsp;:  quelques violons clairs, un peu d&rsquo;optimisme et, surtout, <em>un  chant<\/em>. Une voix ang&eacute;lique qui se marie on ne peut mieux avec  celle enfum&eacute;e et noy&eacute;e de whiskey de son comparse. Ces 42 minutes  sont comme une autre all&eacute;gorie de la belle et la b&ecirc;te, apr&egrave;s celle  du chanteur qui dit tube et du top-model qui titube. On croirait par  moment une petite fille qui valse avec son grand-p&egrave;re, en chantant  (<em>Do You Wanna Come Walk with Me&nbsp;?<\/em>) ou en se contentant  juste de fredonner (<em>Dusty Wreath<\/em>). M&ecirc;me si la reprise d&rsquo;Hank  Williams, <em>Ramblin&rsquo; Man<\/em>, pourrait figurer sans honte sur la  BO du prochain Tarantino, le reste du temps c&rsquo;est plus de r&ecirc;ve  &eacute;veill&eacute; qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit (<em>Black Mountain<\/em>, <em>Revolver<\/em>). <em>Ballad of the Broken Seas <\/em>peut rendre l&rsquo;homme meilleur. Il  peut le rendre heureux dans le m&eacute;tro. Il peut m&ecirc;me lui faire  pardonner son prochain qui vient de lui &eacute;craser le pied sans  s&rsquo;excuser.
