Le fait est qu&rsquo;&agrave; force de s&rsquo;incruster un peu partout autour de moi tout au long de l&rsquo;ann&eacute;e, <em>Collapse into Now<\/em> a fini par laisser des traces. Il est rare que les gros groupes s&rsquo;en aillent sur d&rsquo;aussi beaux barouds d&rsquo;honneur. Face &agrave; un album dont, je  cite, mes &laquo;&nbsp;trois titres pr&eacute;f&eacute;r&eacute;s [&#8230;] sont <em>Celui-qui-sonne-comme-<\/em>Instant-Karma, <em>Celui-avec-le-m&ecirc;me-refrain-que-<\/em>Get-Back et <em>Celui-&agrave;-la-rythmique-repomp&eacute;e-sur-<\/em>My-Generation&nbsp;&raquo; [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/2011\/03\/14\/beady-eye-casino-de-paris-paris\/\">14 mars<\/a>], c&rsquo;&eacute;tait facile. Malgr&eacute; tout, le sabordage d&rsquo;Oasis ne nous donne que deux demi-albums. Chacun a eu sa part du bateau : &agrave; Noel Gallagher le gouvernail, aux autres les voiles et la quille. Beady Eye l&acirc;che donc un <em>Different Gear, Still Speeding<\/em> qui d&eacute;marre en fanfare droit dans le mur&nbsp;; les piafs de Noel Gallagher, malgr&eacute; de bonnes impressions, s&rsquo;&eacute;poumonent bien vite sans vraiment faire voler ses compos tr&egrave;s haut. Suffit de comparer deux morceaux proches comme <em>Falling Down<\/em> sur le dernier Oasis et <em>AKA&#8230; What a Life!<\/em> sur celui-ci pour s&rsquo;en convaincre : Noel Gallagher[&lsquo;s High Flying Birds] malgr&eacute; d&rsquo;excellentes intentions, manque de gras pour r&eacute;ussir le coup d&rsquo;&eacute;clat. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/tag\/noel-gallaghers-high-flying-birds\/\">En photos &rarr;<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2><a name=\"6\"><\/a>6 | <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2011\/12\/albums\/kills_the-blood_pressures.jpg\" align=\"left\" >The Kills &mdash; <em>Blood Pressures<\/em><br \/>\n          <span class=\"petit\">Domino Recordings &#8211; 04 avril 2011<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><em>Blood Pressures<\/em> s&rsquo;est autant fait rembarrer &agrave; sa sortie que l&rsquo;<em>Angles<\/em> des Strokes &mdash;&nbsp;qui l&rsquo;avaient bien cherch&eacute;&nbsp;&mdash;, mais pour des raisons diam&eacute;tralement oppos&eacute;es. Pendant que Casablancas et ses copains se faisaient lapider &agrave; cause de leur disque bien trop aventureux et sa pochette au vomi, les Kills s&rsquo;en mangeaient tout autant &agrave; cause de leur disque bien pas assez aventureux du tout, ce qui est tout &agrave; fait hypocrite quand on consid&egrave;re que l&rsquo;id&eacute;e de la rythmique en table de ping-pong, franchement, fallait la trouver. <em>Blood Pressures<\/em> n&rsquo;est pas le meilleur album des Kills mais il marche du premier coup, il tient ses promesses, il a une rythmique en table de ping-pong, il contient la plus belle ode au Ricard<sup>&reg;<\/sup> de l&rsquo;histoire de la musique populaire [&laquo;&nbsp;<em>all the pastis behind me<\/em>&nbsp;&raquo; dans <em>The Last Goodbye<\/em>, &ccedil;a m&rsquo;arrache des larmes &agrave; chaque fois] et il atterrit dans ta discoth&egrave;que comme s&rsquo;il en avait toujours fait partie. Rien &agrave; demander de plus. Pour l&rsquo;instant. Laiss&eacute; avenue Lefru-Frollin, dans des matins meilleurs aux croissants tremp&eacute;s dans le clip d&rsquo;<em>I Ain&rsquo;t Saying My Goodbyes<\/em>. En fait, je crois que je n&rsquo;avais m&ecirc;me pas aim&eacute; <em>We Have Sound<\/em>. 6 ans apr&egrave;s, <em>Leisure Seizure<\/em> donne l&rsquo;effet contraire. Entr&eacute;e en mati&egrave;re surprenante gr&acirc;ce &agrave; la rotation incessante d&rsquo;<em>A Chore<\/em> &agrave; la radio tout l&rsquo;&eacute;t&eacute; durant, &eacute;coute curieuse, adh&eacute;sion totale et directe. Le genre de disque qu&rsquo;on s&rsquo;&eacute;coute en faisant d&rsquo;inlassables tours de m&eacute;tro seul la nuit. Une red&eacute;couverte compl&egrave;te. Apr&egrave;s la d&eacute;fection des Datsuns, la nouvelle Nouvelle-Z&eacute;lande replac&eacute;e sur la carte. S&ucirc;rement la meilleure surprise pop de l&rsquo;ann&eacute;e. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/tag\/passive-me-aggressive-you\/\">En photos &rarr;<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"disque\">\n<h2>3 | <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallendorff.com\/belogue\/photo\/2011\/12\/albums\/florence_and_the_machine-ceremonials.jpg\" align=\"left\" >Florence and the Machine &mdash; <em>Ceremonials<\/em><br \/>\n          <span class=\"petit\">Island, 28 octobre 2011<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Le Kasabian mis &agrave; part, on peut parler de meilleur album attendu au tournant de l&rsquo;ann&eacute;e. <em>Ceremonials<\/em> ne d&eacute;&ccedil;oit pas ; il confirme, m&ecirc;me, &agrave; coups de <em>Shake It Out<\/em>, de <em>No Lights, No Lights<\/em> et de <em>Heartlines<\/em> &eacute;piques et prenants. Plus difficile &agrave; imposer que <em>Lungs<\/em>, dans la mesure o&ugrave; il n&rsquo;offre pas vraiment de sing&ocirc;le irr&eacute;sistible, peut-&ecirc;tre, mais qu&rsquo;importe : l&rsquo;essentiel est d&eacute;j&agrave; fait. Welch avait mis en place un univers, voil&agrave; qu&rsquo;elle le fait vivre. Il ne s&rsquo;agit plus de capter du monde mais de continuer l&rsquo;aventure, et elle y arrive tr&egrave;s bien. Vivement les Casino de Paris de mars. D&rsquo;accord, faut aimer, j&rsquo;en conviens. Suis vaccin&eacute;, pour ma part, apr&egrave;s des ann&eacute;es pass&eacute;es &agrave; &eacute;couter Muse. N&#8217;emp&ecirc;che que, et malgr&eacute; des passages pompeux parfois trop lourds mais toujours imposants (<em>A Heavy Abaccus<\/em> tra&icirc;nard et <em>Buoy<\/em> pachydermique, genre, faut aimer) <em>The Big Roar<\/em> bazarde du tronc d&rsquo;arbre presque autant que The Joy Formidable lui-m&ecirc;me sur sc&egrave;ne. Et &ccedil;a, mon pote, c&rsquo;est pas peu dire venant d&rsquo;un groupe qui fait autant de bruit par personne. Malgr&eacute; le d&eacute;part plomb&eacute; de <em>Let&rsquo;s Roll the Dice Just Like We Used to<\/em> et une <em>F&eacute;e verte<\/em> neurast&eacute;nique, les Leicesterois alignent un <em>Days Are Forgotten<\/em> taill&eacute; pour &ecirc;tre repris en ch&oelig;ur par des stades entiers, un <em>Velociraptor!<\/em> taill&eacute; pour rendre dingue des stades entiers et m&ecirc;me un <em>Goodbye Kiss<\/em> pour faire valser dans les chaumi&egrave;res pendant que des stades entiers vont refaire le plein de bi&egrave;re. Malgr&eacute; les lenteurs qui l&rsquo;entravent &ccedil;&agrave; et l&agrave; &mdash;&nbsp;s&eacute;rieux, mais pourquoi <em>I Hear Voices<\/em>&nbsp;???&nbsp;&mdash; ce captieux quatri&egrave;me effort s&rsquo;impose sans l&rsquo;air de rien. Une r&eacute;ussite, plus encore que l&rsquo;&eacute;tait <em>The West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum<\/em>. La suite promet, encore. On a Kasabian s&rsquo;tenir<sup>1<\/sup>.
